Gameplay revolves around clever resource management and environmental awareness. Throughout your run, you can gather pebbles floating on the tiles or hit the free item button to replenish your inventory. When a path is blocked by the lurking monster, throwing a pebble into distant water causes a splash that tricks the creature into rushing toward the sound, opening up a temporary window for you to slip past unnoticed.

As you progress from Easy into Normal and Hard modes, rooms grow significantly more complex. You'll encounter challenging obstacles like crumbling floor tiles, sliding bridges, crushing walls, and low-visibility dark halls. Furthermore, unlocking the exit doors on higher difficulties requires turning two loud mechanical valves, forcing you to execute a quick getaway before the entity reacts to the noise. Successful escapes earn you coins, which unlock permanent character upgrades and 18 collectible cosmetic outfits.
