To gain a speed advantage, drive over the green speed boost boxes. Be cautious of the purple boxes, which will fall after you pass over them, and avoid the red boxes at all costs.

If you crash repeatedly and deplete all your lives, you will fail the level and must restart. Upon dying, you will be returned to the last checkpoint (flag) you successfully crossed.
